With any luck, this podcast will give you a good, introductory overview of Universal Design for Learning. It covers UDL's origins in the field of Architecture, the brain research that supports Universal Design in education, as well as the challenges it presents and the tools available today to confront those challenges and meet the needs of every learner.
For schools or teachers interested in implementing UDL, I would like to suggest three excellent resources available at CAST. These are: the Class Profile Maker, the Curriculum Barriers Finder, and the UDL Solutions Finder.
Enjoy!
